Heading north up the coast, and if I spot a koala I will post a picture. The species is endangered and in the years of riding a bicycle around eastern Australia, I’ve never seen a single one in the wild. Land clearing for farming and logging near wiped then out.

I’ll return south in time for a climate demo in Newcastle (New South Wales, Australia) which is the world’s biggest coal port.

We can’t allow the civilians massacred in this conflict to have died for nothing. A better world has to be their legacy, and seeing so many young people, and not so young, demonstrating around the world for an end to this barbaric genocide, I believe the world will change for the better. NEVER AGAIN!

Spoken by a diplomat, he mentions fleeing Palestinians being shot at, but stops short of saying that Palestinian children have become targets of choice for Israeli snipers. Doctors from what remains of Gaza’s hospitals have independently of each other reported dead children been brought in with single bullet wounds to the head or to the centre of the chest. There is photo and video evidence, independently verified, and so not photoshop jobs as the Israeli Defense Force claims.

For reasons that will remain obscure, I renewed the site’s hosting. Maybe on a bikepacking trip I might have something worth sharing such as a pretty picture of a koala? If I ever see one.

I’ll be hitting the road again soon, up the coast to find a quiet beach as with a major climate demo coming up next month, it’s too late to resume the Kosciuszko ride.

Otherwise, there’s nothing much worth mentioning, it’s obvious the planet is a mess and I can’t see that changing. A single picture of the shredded bodies of Palestine children perfectly describes what humans have become. Do we really expect that same species will act to rescue its descendants from catastrophic climate change? One that slaughters its own children?
